JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - As the deer, turkey and waterfowl hunting seasons approach, the Missouri Department of Conservation encourages residents to get their hunter education done early this year.
MDC spokesperson Joe Jerek told KXCV/KRNW that hunters 16 years or older can complete education online, while any hunter can utilize the department's blended course format.
Jerek says outside of a few exemptions, adult hunters are required to have hunter education in the state. For more information visit mdc.mo.gov/huntereducation.
