ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - With the Fourth of July weekend coming up, many will be hitting the road for the festivities making it one of the busiest summer holidays and also one of the deadliest with an increase of impaired drivers.
Area Engineer for the Missouri Department of Transportation Jennifer Sardigal told KXCV/KRNW that people should have a plan in place before enjoying the holiday weekend.
There will be increased law enforcement out today through Saturday. If you see an impaired driver on the road, you're urged call authorities.
