ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - A new and emerging pest is gaining prevalence throughout the four-state region.
University of Missouri Extension Office Agronomy Field Specialist Wayne Flanary told KXCV/KRNW that the Japanese beetle has been found across northwest Missouri in corn and soybean crops.
Flanary says growers should control the beetles according to economic thresholds.
