HOPKINS, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a wreck that injured five people, including three juveniles, from Hopkins.
The Patrol says 40-year-old Andrea Hornbuckle was driving a 2014 Toyota Camry on Route FF, south of Route JJ, about three miles west of Hopkins, before 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Camry traveled off the road, down an embankment, and struck a tree. Hornbuckle suffered serious injuries, a 37-year-old passenger, Shannon Hornbuckle, suffered moderate injuries.
As for the three juveniles, one suffered minor injuries, one suffered moderate injuries, and the other suffered serious injuries. The two people who suffered serious injuries weren't wearing a seat belt.
