FAIRFAX, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a teenager was seriously injured after an early morning wreck this week.
The Patrol says 17-year-old Austin Wallace of Rock Port was driving a 2000 Chevy Silverado on 59 Highway, less than a mile north of Fairfax, at 2:50 a.m. Thursday.
The Chevy traveled off the road, became airborne, struck a ditch and overturned multiple times. Wallace was taken to the Fairfax Hospital before being taken to Nebraska Medical Center of Omaha.
Authorities add that Wallace wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
