Savannah city council uses USDA grant to buy pickup


SAVANNAH, Mo. - Before the Savannah City Council wrapped up its latest meeting early, the council did approve a bid for a one-ton pickup truck for the city.

City Clerk Beth Kar told KXCV/KRNW that the city's Public Works director had already secured a 15% grant from the USDA to help purchase the vehicle. Savannah will cover the other 85% of the cost.
