Authorities looking for missing Grant City woman


GRANT CITY, Mo. - The Worth County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing Grant City woman. The Sheriff's Office says 43-year-old Melissa Chapman has been missing since August 23.

The Sheriff's Office is working with law enforcement in Mount Ayr because her vehicle and cell were found abandoned in Iowa.

Authorities confirmed to KXCV that she was set to testify against someone in an abuse case who has threatened to kill her in the past. Anyone with information is encourage to call the Sheriff's Office at 660-564-2222.
