JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation and the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety has a reminder for this weekend.
The "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign begins today and lasts through September 7. During this time, law enforcement will be on the lookout for impaired drivers.
According to preliminary 2019 data, 184 people were killed and 590 people were seriously injured in crashes that involved at least one impaired driver.
