COLUMBUS, Neb. - The Nebraska Public Power District has a universal reminder for farmers, "look up and look out."
Nebraska Public Power District Media Relations Specialist Grant Otten told KXCV/KRNW hitting a powerline with a piece of farm equipment can result in a dangerous and even fatal situation
Otten adds there have been several incidents so far this Summer. If equipment operators DO make contact with a powerline, they should remain in their vehicle and dial 911.
