COLUMBUS, Neb. - The pandemic is forcing the Nebraska Public Power District to change up an annual event.
Instead of welcoming in people across the U.S., the 29th Wells Fargo Nebraska Open is focusing on PGA professionals and amateurs who currently live in Nebraska.
Media Relations Specialist for the NPPD Grant Otten told KXCV/KRNW that money raised at the event will still go towards student scholarships.
The Nebraska Open starts Friday, September 11, and runs through Sunday, September 13. You can register at nebraskapga.com. The deadline to register is September 4.
