ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - A soybean disease is catching the eye of farmers and agricultural experts alike.
Field Specialist in Agronomy at the University of Missouri Extension Wayne Flanary told KXCV/KRNW that 'Sudden Death Syndrome' is a common infection found in soybeans for this time of season.
But it appears to be coming in later this year. Flanary says that there isn't much farmers are able to do since it is seasonal, but he still advises farmers to plan ahead when growing and treating their soybean crop.
