ALBANY, Mo. - In what was a mostly slow meeting, Albany's Board of Alderman authorized a lease agreement that will help bring fiber internet to the city.
"I think it was a 10-foot square piece of ground near our water tower for them to put some kind of apparatus that has to do with their installation of their fiber network here in Albany," said City Administrator Derek Brown.
Brown also tells KXCV/KRNW that the board made the lease agreement with United Services Inc. - the parent company of United Fiber.
