TRENTON, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a teenager was seriously injured in a single vehicle wreck over the holiday weekend.
The Patrol says 18-year-old Tanner Schmidt of St. Joseph wrecked on Northwest 22nd Avenue, one and a half miles north of Trenton in Grundy County at 9:25 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities say Schmidt was driving a 2005 Chevy Malibu that slid on the gravel, traveled off the road, and overturned. Schmidt was transported to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton with serious injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt.
