Maryville, MO - As COVID-19 cases continued to ebb and flow in Nodaway County, the Health Department and the Missouri National Guard will perform drive-thru coronavirus testing after the state Department of Health and Senior Services offered to provide tests.
"We've checked two boxes: we're in Missouri and we do need testing. So they asked if we would like to have that in our area again. And you know, sure we would. So we set that up."
Health Department Administrator Tom Patterson says the testing requires no fee, insurance, or symptoms. The testing site will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. today at the Maryville Community Center. Online registration is available at health.mo.gov/community-test.
