CRESTON, Iowa - At it's latest meeting, the Creston City had nearly 20 items to sort out. One of the biggest items was an application for a 2020 Iowa Department of Natural Resources Wildland Fire Grant.
City Administrator Mike Taylor told KXCV/KRNW that the city council also made a decision to go with FEH Associates as an architectural firm to work on a future works building.
Despite the decision, Taylor adds it will still take a couple of years for that project to get going.
