Dr. Strickland to present this year's "Last Lecture"


MARYVILLE, Mo. - Organizers are going with a hybrid approach for an annual lecture tonight.

Bearcat Marching Band Director Dr. Kathryn Strickland will be presenting this year's "Last Lecture," titled "Write Your Future in Pencil" at 6:30 p.m. in the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts.

The event gives a Northwest faculty member an opportunity to speak as they would during the last lecture of their careers.

Because seating is limited at the free lecture, people can watch it via Zoom and on the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences Facebook page.
