Fall firearms season for turkey hunting begins


JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Today is the start of Fall firearms season for turkey hunting in Missouri.

Spokesperson with the Missouri Department of Conservation Joe Jerek told KXCV/KRNW that based on records, there are going to be fewer turkeys this season.

Fall firearms season runs through the end of October. As for fall archery season for turkey hunting, that began in mid-September and runs through November 13.
