DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa department of natural resources is offering a free virtual workshop for trapping furbearers.
Jamie Cook with the Iowa DNR told KXCV/KRNW that this program will give you a deeper understanding of the practice.
The virtual workshop will be two courses. The first course is October 20, and covers trapping history, trapping regulations and trapping as a management tool.
The second course is October 22, and covers trapping strategies, nuisance trapping and fur handling. For more information and to register, visit register-ed.com/events/view.
