Journalist to discuss book at Lied Public Library

CLARINDA, Iowa - An award winning journalist and author is coming to Iowa.

David Davis will be at the Lied Public Library in Clarinda to discuss his non-fiction book, Wheels of Courage, which shares the story of three paralyzed vets and their role in creating wheelchair basketball.

Davis' has written for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated, and others. The program with Davis is October 19 at 6:30 p.m. Because of the limited seating, the program will be live-streamed via Zoom on Facebook.
