JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - With hunting seasons in full-swing, the Missouri Department of Conservation has a reminder. The MDC says that special regulations and boundaries apply to different areas throughout the Show-Me State.
For example, the Nodaway Valley Conservation Area in Holt County is managed primarily for waterfowl hunting. But the area also has other areas open for small game hunting.
However, the use of lead shot in shotguns is prohibited for any type of hunting on the area. Specific regulations and rules for all hunting spots can be found at mdc.mo.gov.
