COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation and Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety says you need to look out for a different kind of vehicle this time of year.
Law enforcement grant manager at MoDOT Mandy Kleithermes told KXCV/KRNW that people need to be aware of slow-moving farm vehicles while driving this fall.
While that does seem low, she adds that data shows a collision involving a farm vehicle is five times more likely to produce a fatality.
That's why people are urged to pay attention, be patient, and always pass on the left and only when you have clear sight distance.
