COLUMBUS, Neb. - Nebraska Public Power District is warning its customers of possible phone scammers. Scammers are posing as NPPD representatives demanding immediate payments.
Media Relations Specialist Grant Otten told KXCV/KRNW that scammers will look for alternative forms of payment in order to transfer the victim's money.
NPPD advises if customers think they've experienced a phone scam, they should call their Customer Contact Center at 1-877-ASK-NPPD
