MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State University has gotten nearly $10,000 for the removal, pruning, and planting of trees.
The money comes from the Missouri Department of Conservation through its Tree Resource Improvement and Maintenance (TRIM) grant program.
The MDC says TRIM grants offer cost-share funding for government agencies, schools and non-profit groups to manage, improve or conserve trees on public lands.
