Nodaway County health officials confirm 13 more cases of COVID-19


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department has confirmed 13 more cases of COVID-19 in the county. The Health Department says there have now been 863 confirmed cases, with 12 probably cases.

Health officials add that there are currently 101 active cases in the county. Northwest Missouri State University says 17 of those active cases involve Northwest students or employees.

There have been 36 hospitalizations so far during the pandemic; three are currently still hospitalized. Officials continue to strongly urge the public to social distance and practice good hygiene.
