Nodaway County health officials confirm 18 more cases of COVID-19


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department has confirmed 18 more cases of COVID-19 in the county. The Health Department says this now brings the total number of confirmed cases up to 931, with 31 probably cases.

Of those 931, 139 cases are still active. Northwest Missouri State University says 34 of those cases involve Northwest students or employees.

Health officials say that so far during the pandemic, there have been 41 hospitalizations; three are currently still hospitalized. Officials continue to strongly urge residents to social distance and practice good hygiene.
