Nodaway County health officials confirm eight more cases of COVID-19


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department has confirmed eight more cases of COVID-19 in the county.

The Health Department says this now brings the total number of confirmed cases in the county up to 795, with two probable cases.

76 cases in the county are active and Northwest Missouri State University says 11 of those cases involve a Northwest student or employee.

So far during the pandemic there have been 28 hospitalizations; six people are currently still hospitalized. Health officials continue to strongly urge the public to social distance and practice good hygiene.
