OREGON, Mo. - Two Northwest Missouri State University students spent their summer giving back to a small Missouri town.
Shelby Theis and Sierra Scott painted a 76-foot wide and 16-foot tall mural in downtown Oregon. The mural, featured on the exterior wall of the South Holt Family Medical building, was commissioned on September 15.
Officials say the mural serves as a historical reminder of parades organized by the city since 1950.
