Nodaway County weekend Covid update tracks 1 death and 41 cases

The Nodaway County Health Department confirmed its 11th death and 41 more cases of COVID-19 in the county over the weekend.

The Health Department says this now brings the total number of confirmed cases up to 1,300, with 158 probable cases. Health officials add that there are currently 266 active cases in the county, and Northwest Missouri State University says 119 of those involve Northwest students or employees. Officials add that there are 6 current hospitalizations.

Officials continue to strongly urge the public to social distance and practice good hygiene.
