Creston City Council passes Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant

It was a meeting of contrasting topics at one Iowa city council meeting.

While the Creston City Council continues to discuss firework code ordinances and chicken permits in city limits; City Administrator Mike Taylor says the city council did pass a resolution to accept a Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant for rural fire equipment.
