CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - In most cities, the process of having a K-9 officer is normally a formality, but not in Chillicothe.
The Chillicothe City Council approved a memorandum of understanding with Sgt. Grider as K-9 handler for the city. City Administrator Darin Chappell explained to KXCV/KRNW why that is.
Chappell adds the MOU simply ironed out the details of the relationship between Sgt. Grider and the city as far as the K-9 itself is concerned.
