Mobile food pantry heading to Chillicothe every month


ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Skidmore is getting one, and so is another city in the KXCV/KRNW listening area.

The Second Harvest Community Food Bank has announced they are extending the dates for their Fresh Mobile Food Pantry in Chillicothe.

Communications Coordinator for Second Harvest Blake Haynes says the food bank recognizes the need for food in these areas remains increased.

The Mobile Food Pantry will be in Chillicothe the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, at 10 a.m., for the foreseeable future. More information and dates for other cities can be found at shcfb.org.
