The St. Joseph Health Department has announced a partnership with the United Way St. Joseph and the St. Joseph School District to help high school students cope with stress.
Public information officer with the city health department Stephanie Malita told KXCV/KRNW that developing resilience to trauma is important.
Malita says the program emphasizes healthy coping mechanisms, as opposed to smoking, drinking or drugs to cope.
