CRESTON, Iowa - At it's latest meeting, the Creston City Council discussed two hot topic ordinances. The council first approved a new chapter regulating the discharge of fireworks within city limits.
It will keep set times for people to use fireworks at safer hours. City Administrator Mike Taylor told KXCV/KRNW that the council also added an ordinance regarding ''urban chickens'' for those who have permits.
The next city council meeting is scheduled for Jan. 19.
