The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a woman died in a single-vehicle wreck in Grant City. The Patrol says 50-year-old Stacie Jenks of Grant City wrecked on Highway 46 east of Briggs St. at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities say Jenks was driving a 2002 Lincoln LS when Jenks lost control, crossed the centerline, overcorrected, and traveled off the side of the road and struck a tree.
Her body was taken to Andrews Hann Funeral Home. Jenks was not wearing a seatbelt.
