JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation is inviting landowners to learn about the benefits of native grasses.
A 45-minute virtual program will be available on Feb. 18 for land managers to see how native warm-season grass can be a positive for feeding livestock while improving wildlife habitat.
News Services Coordinator Joe Jerek told KXCV/KRNW that this time of year is good to prepare before the warmer seasons.
Registration can be found on the Missouri Department of Conservation's website at mdc.mo.gov/events.
