CLARINDA, Iowa - Clarinda residents eager to learn about the region's brightest historical stars will have the chance to do so this month.
The Lied Public Library will virtually host author Sara Jordan-Heintz on March 22 for a discussion on her book, "Going Hollywood: Midwesterners in Movieland."
Library Director Andrew Hoppmann told KXCV/KRNW that he was particularly interested in the book's chapter on Marilyn Maxwell, a Clarinda native.
Anyone interested can call the library for the event's Zoom link at 712-542-2416. The link will also be posted on the library's Facebook page.
