MO Department of Agriculture issues consumer warning


JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - A consumer alert has been issued by the Missouri Department of Agriculture. The MDA is warning Missourians that the Corn Xpress Bulk Corn Vending Machines is not leg for trade in the state.

Unfortunately, several residents and small businesses have purchased the devices, which cost of tens of thousands of dollars, believing they are legal.

The machines do not meet weighting, accuracy and seal standards set forth in state law. If consumers have any questions, they should call 573-751-5638.
