COLUMBUS, Neb. - The Nebraska Public Power District is warning travelers about fallen powerlines as we enter severe weather season.
Media Relations Specialist with the NPPD Grant Otten told KXCV/KRNW that the poles that fall during storms may still be charged.
If you see a downed power line, call your local power company, dial 911, or 1-877-ASK-NPPD.
