MARYVILLE, Mo. - Teachers and staff in the Maryville R-2 school district have a reason to be happy. That's because at it's latest meeting, the Board of Education approved a 2.9% raise.
Superintendent Becky Albrecht told KXCV/KRNW that this is the largest increase in pay in quite a while.
Superintendent Albrecht adds this will bring salaries in the school district closer to other school districts in the Midland Empire Conference.
