The Chillicothe Missouri Police Department is acquiring new technology to promote safety in the city.
One of the purchases is an online interactive map made by Lexis-Nexis.
Police Chief Jon Maples says the map shows where crimes are more likely to be.
The department has also purchased four speed radar display trailers, which Maples says will be rotated around the city as needed.
