Corn emergence slow due to weather

Corn growers will need to be patient this month. With the air temperatures declining, the emergence of corn will slow.

Field Specialist with the University of Missouri Extension, Wayne Flanary, says corn may take longer to emerge, up to 3 to 4 weeks, if the temperatures remain the same.
