MDC thanks hunters for donations to Share The Harvest

The Missouri Department of Conservation along with the Conservation Federation of Missouri want to thank the hunters who gave back this year to the state's Share The Harvest program.

Spokesman for MDC Joe Jerek says the hunters brought in hundreds of thousands of pounds of venison.

Since the program began in 1992, hunters have donated more than 4.5 million pounds of venison to local food banks.
