FAIRAX, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating an ATV crash that injured two teens and a preteen. The Patrol says it happened on 300th Street, three miles south of Fairfax, at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Authorities say a 12-year-old Rockport girl who was driving the ATV lost control, skidded, and overturned into a ditch. The girl suffered serious injuries and was taken to Community Hospital in Fairfax by private vehicle.
Two passengers, a 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy, suffered moderate and serious injuries. Both were taken to Community Hospital in Fairfax by ambulance. No one was wearing a helmet.
