MARYVILLE, Mo. - Active Minds and the Behavioral Science Association of Northwest Missouri State University are teaming to host "I Will Listen", an event to destigmatize mental illness and discuss mental health disorders.
Attendees will learn about coping mechanisms and speakers will discuss their experiences with mental disorders and how to regulate well-being.
The event is open to the public, and is set for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. April 7, in the J.W. Jones Student Union Boardroom. Northwest's COVID-19 mitigation measures will be in place.
