WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - Another regional business is dropping its mask mandate. Hy-Vee announced that they will no longer require fully vaccinated customers and employees to wear face coverings, except where it's required by local ordinances.
The change comes after last Friday's mask announcement by the CDC. In an email from Hy-Vee, the grocery chain says that they continue to strongly recommend that customers and employees wear masks if they are not vaccinated.
A few weeks back, Hy-Vee announced that appointments are no longer required to receive a free COVID-19 vaccine at Hy-Vee pharmacies.
