MSHP: MO man dies in single-vehicle wreck


HARDIN TOWNSHIP, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 49-year-old Holt man died in a single-vehicle wreck over the weekend.

The Patrol says Shane Bright was driving a 2013 Mini Cooper on Route J, seven miles south of Plattsburg, at 7:09 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities say the the Mini Cooper slid off the road and struck a tree. Bright was pronounced dead at the scene. Bright was wearing his seat belt.
