GALLATIN, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two teenagers were seriously injured in a single-vehicle wreck over the weekend.
The Patrol says the two 16-year-olds were in a 1995 GMC Sierra on 260th St. in Daviess County, fives miles southeast of Gallatin.
At 9:50 p.m. Saturday, the driver failed to make a turn on to Sunset Ave. and crashed into an embankment.
Authorities say the teens, a boy from Pattonsburg and a girl from Gallatin, were both taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with serious injuries by a private vehicle. Neither were wearing a seat belt.
