JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety and the Missouri Department of Transportation would like to remind you that May is Motorcycle Awareness Month.
Assistant to the State Highway and Traffic Engineer with MoDOT Jon Nelson told KXCV/KRNW that motorists often forget to check for motorcycles.
Preliminary reports indicate that 13% of all Missouri traffic fatalities in 2020 involved a motorcycle. More information on Missouri's "Show-Me Zero" safe highway plan is available at savemolives.com.
