The Trenton City Council unanimously passed an ordinance at its latest meeting. City Administrator Ron Urton says the ordinance allows the city to save 658 thousand dollars from interest loans.
The council decided to put that money into city infrastructure such as sewer, water, and transportation funds. Some of those transportation funds will go to a current bridge project in Trenton.
