FALLS CITY, Neb. - One Nebraska city is holding its second hot air balloon festival after it was canceled in 2020.
Falls City Chamber and Mainstreet Executive Director Amber Holly told KXCV/KRNW that their hot air balloon festival is back this year with historical value that people both old and young can enjoy.
Lift off is on June 19 at 7 p.m.; food trucks and live music will be available. Holly adds that after dark, a "balloon glow" or a "field of fire" takes place, where the pilots light up the balloons and announce the balloon names and where they are from.
